Who are we...

Manas Law Chambers was founded by Chunky Agarwal with a vision to cultivate a culture of ethical and socially conscious legal practice. Inspired by the Sanskrit word ‘Manas’, representing the human power of thought and intellect, our firm is built on the belief that legal knowledge must be used for the upliftment of society.

With expertise across civil and criminal litigation, commercial disputes, intellectual property, arbitration, and more, our team combines academic rigor with practical insight to deliver comprehensive legal solutions. We pride ourselves on a client-first approach, ethical standards, and a strong network of senior legal professionals. At Manas Law Chambers, we are committed to justice, integrity, and transformative legal service.

Comprehensive legal solutions across diverse domains of law

Our Areas Of Practises

Our dedicated research team collaborates closely with legal professionals to produce comprehensive publications, case studies, and legal analyses on both current and emerging legal issues. These contributions not only enrich academic and policy discussions but also inform our practical work in litigation, advisory, and policy development. We regularly publish in reputed journals and legal platforms to foster informed legal debate and dialogue.

We manage a broad spectrum of civil disputes with end-to-end support in negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation. Our practice spans contractual disagreements, property matters, inheritance issues, and tort claims. Our focus is on achieving swift and favourable outcomes for our clients, whether through out-of-court settlements or vigorous courtroom representation.

Corporate Social Responsibility is deeply embedded in our values and operations. We strive to promote access to justice and legal empowerment through legal aid for underprivileged communities, legal literacy campaigns, and public interest clinics offering consultations on domestic violence, tenancy, labour rights, and consumer protection. We also conduct legal research on pressing social issues—such as gender justice, environmental law, and access to legal aid—publishing findings that contribute to policy and advocacy.

We provide strategic legal advisory and implementation support to government and quasi-government institutions. Our work includes drafting regulations, advising on policy formulation, conducting legal audits and compliance reviews, and supporting administrative reforms and public service delivery initiatives.

Our transactional practice serves corporates, startups, non-profits, and institutions through comprehensive legal structuring and documentation. This includes investment transactions, regulatory compliance, employment contracts, labour law advisory, and long-term legal support under retainership agreements.

We support creators, entrepreneurs, and businesses in securing and managing intellectual property rights. Our services cover patents, trademarks, and copyrights, along with IP audits and enforcement strategies. We help clients protect their innovations, brands, and original works through strategic legal guidance and litigation support.

We offer end-to-end legal services in real estate, including title verification, sale and purchase documentation, and registration. We support developers with legal compliance, joint ventures, and RERA obligations, and represent clients in property disputes such as ownership conflicts, builder-buyer issues, and tenancy matters.

Our criminal law practice provides robust defence and advisory services across a range of criminal matters, including white-collar crimes, financial frauds, bail applications, and trial representation. We also handle appeals and revisions before higher courts, ensuring that due process and individual rights are upheld at every stage.

We are actively involved in Public Interest Litigations aimed at systemic reform. Our PIL practice addresses issues like environmental protection, gender rights, police reform, and access to public services. These initiatives are pursued independently or in collaboration with civil society organizations and grassroots groups.

We guide clients through complex regulatory landscapes, offering legal support in industry-specific compliance, government advisory, and institutional governance. Our experience includes advising on Tea Board regulations, export-import norms, and compliance for NGOs, educational institutions, and businesses across sectors.
